2025 Inductees Pictures and Bios

The Chartiers-Houston School District is proud to announce the following 2025 inductees into our newly established Hall of Honor. These remarkable individuals exemplify excellence in education, leadership, service and achievement in various categories. Their legacies will inspire generations of Buccaneers. After reviewing many worthy nominations submitted through the District's website, the Hall of Honor Committee selected these inductees to comprise the inaugural class:

Glen N. Arthur- Class of 1950- Service to our Country/Military Valor

Patrick Benic- Class of 1966- Contributions to Business/Work

Michael George- Class of 1984- Service to our Country/Military Valor

Jack Henry- Class of 1964-Athletics

Brianna Liebold-Dolphin- Class of 2006-Athletics

Alexandra Loutsion- Class of 2002- Performing Arts

James McConnell-Class of 1971-Service to our Country/Military Valor

James Rankin- Class of 1973- Academics

Keith Sefton-Class of 1964-Service to County/Military Valor

William Townsend-Class of 1982- Contributions to Business/Work

A ceremony to present the Class of 2025 Hall of Honor Inductees with plaques will be held at the Chartiers Houston High School Stadium prior to the home football game on September 12, 2025. The Community is encouraged to attend this game to congratulate the inductees on receiving this accolade. A dinner in their honor will be held the following evening, Saturday, September 13th beginning at 6:00 PM at the Chartiers Township Community Center. located at 2013 Community Center Drive in Houston, PA 15342. Tickets are available to the public on a first come first serve basis as seats are limited. The cost for each ticket is $25.00.  Checks can be made out to the Chartiers-Houston School District with the term "Hall of Honor" in the subject line. The checks can mailed to Dr. Gary Peiffer at his email address: Gary.peiffer@chartiers-houstonsd.com or his phone number at 724-746-1400, ext. 107 or dropped off at the District Office during the regular business hours of 8-4 PM, Mon-Fri.

Nominations for the 2026 Hall of Honor Candidates will open on the District Website in January via an online nomination form. Candidates can be re-nominated for induction if they were not inducted for this year's Hall of Honor.
