Students from Yearbook, Broadcasting, and Buccaneer Newsletter took a trip to Penn West (California University Campus) for the IU1 Showcase, selected by Miss Marino. Students showcased work from many different Media classes. They met with other schools and discussed the media programs, spoke with administrators from other districts, and got to interact with new technology.

Congratulations to Madison Chipps being only 1 of 2 Amelia Earhart nominees to receive the award from the Local Zonta International Chapter! She will receive the award on April 8th at the Annual Zonta International Amelia Earhart dinner.

Spark Day — Future Readiness & Student Leadership Conference 💫 Some of our 9th and 10th grade student leaders were selected by faculty to go to Spark Day with Miss Rossi and Dr. Lesnett. Spark Day is a student leadership conference with other 9th and 10th grade leaders from other school districts. This is part of the Western PA Leadership Collaborative and was hosted at Penn West California.

Help support the 10th grade class by purchasing items from Krispy Kreme. Orders are due by Friday, April 10. They will come in on Wednesday, April 29 and will be available for pick up throughout the day or directly after school. Any checks need to be written out to "Chartiers-Houston School district." Don’t forget that the 9th Grade Class is selling Flowers & Plants as a fundraiser. If you would like to purchase something, you can from a 9th grade student or you could message Mrs. Gordon to let her know. The orders and money are due by Tuesday, March 31 by the end of the school day. Cash and checks are accepted. Checks are to be made out to Chartiers-Houston School District.
