Students were featured briefly on PTL, met with Heather Abraham & David Highfield, saw the behind the scenes in the news room & control room, and got to take a tour of the facility. The AP Government & Politics class engage in a 3 day whirlwind tour of Washington, DC including a lecture in the actual Supreme Court Court Room, Ford’s Theatre, a nighttime Monument bus tour, the Library of Congress, the National Archives, a tour of the Capitol Building, the Holocaust Museum, Air and Space Museum, African American Museum, American History Museum and the Museum of Art. They also were present for a wreath placement in honor of Scott Bashioum at the National Law Enforcement Memorial by his son Cole Bashioum, which will be maintained in the National Law Enforcement Museum. What a great experience! 🇺🇸⭐️

The 9th Grade Class is selling Flowers & Plants as a fundraiser starting this week until Tuesday, March 31. If you would like to purchase something, you can from a 9th grade student or you could message Mrs. Gordon to let her know. The orders and money are due by Tuesday, March 31 by the end of the school day. Cash and checks are accepted. Checks are to be made out to Chartiers-Houston School District.
